Mobile Web Developer on Ulitzer
Netbiscuits, a B2B web software platform for the creation, operation and monetization of mobile websites, and Media Prima Berhad, an integrated media investment group in Malaysia, have announced the joint realization of two new mobile web portals for TV3, Malaysia's leading free-to-air TV network, and GUA, the most popular entertainment and lifestyle portal in Malaysia. The new mobile sites are available at mobile.tv3.com.my and mobile.gua.com.my.
TV3 Mobile is a true mobile television channel providing video streaming of TV serials and other programs on 3G-enabled mobile devices. User generated comments and the latest program information complete the service. GUA Mobile provides the latest scoop on happenings in the entertainment world, both local and international. Besides celebrity news the portal offers lifestyle tips and advice regarding love and partnership to its users.
Both portals were developed and deployed with Netbiscuits' award winning mobile publishing platform which is also the basis of 8TV Mobile, another mobile TV site launched by Media Prima last year. All mobile sites deliver rich media content to mobile devices across all carriers in Malaysia, Singapore and many other countries in the region. Users have access to the portals via UMTS as well as WiFi.
"Our experience with 8TV Mobile proved that Netbiscuits is the right partner for us to mobilize our various properties", says Paul Moss, General Manager, Platforms, Technology & New Business of Alt Media Sdn Bhd (the digital arm of Media Prima Berhad). "Netbiscuits' mobile web publishing platform provides a class A performance for streaming video content and delivers high quality output on all relevant mobile devices in the APAC region."
"We are proud to be able to expand our relationship with Media Prima", says Joerg Krahnert, Managing Director APAC of Netbiscuits in Singapore. "Streaming video content will definitely be one of the major traffic generators for mobile media services. Adding the right mobile advertising strategies and technologies to the mix.
